June 14: Day 2 Auction Results

 

American Legend concluded its June 14, 2017 auction with a collection of Blackglama, Mahogany, Brown female, mutation mink and Section III.

Blackglama females sold 100% at firm price levels. Korea was the main buyer with support from Greece and China. Mahogany females sold 95% with prices easing on longer naps. China and Korea were the main buyers.

Mutations met with selective demand. Palomino males sold 95% at firm price levels. China was the main buyer. Palomino females sold 78% at firm prices to China and Korea.

American Legend is pleased to have sold 97%
of the collection at generally firm price levels during this challenging time for the market.

 

Top Lots

 

The top lot of Blackglama females was purchased by Tsoukas Bros. & Sons, Kastoria, Greece, for Harbin Jinfuren Fur Co. and was produced by J & G Fur Farm.

The top lot of American Legend Mahogany females was purchased by Guangzhou Manali Apparel Trading for Dengta City Ouyashenqi Garments Co. and was produced by Shoreline Farms.

June 13, 2017 – Auction started buyers from all major markets with great enthusiasm

 

The American Legend June auction began today with the offering of Blackglama, Mahogany, and Brown males, along with White, Silverblue, Pearl, Blue Iris, Pastel and Breeder male and female pelts.

Despite the market’s concerns over the large volume of mink being offered in the June-July round of auctions, buyers from all major markets showed increased enthusiasm for the excellent collection of Blackglama and American Legend mink.

Under adverse conditions, Blackglama and American Legend Mahogany males sold 98% and 96% respectively at prices firm to recent auctions. Mutations sold 82% at prices firm to slightly easier and Breeder pelts sold 100%. Greece and China were the main buyers.

The top lot of Blackglama males was purchased by Tsoukas Bros. & Sons, Kastoria, Greece, for Harbin Jinfuren Fur Co., and was produced by Harris – Kurhajec – Van Elderen.

The top lot of American Legend Mahogany males was purchased by DUETfur, Alushta, Russia, and was produced by The Becksteads.

The top lot of American Legend Dark Brown males was purchased by Fimory International Co., Ltd., & Dalian Jin Tao Ran International Trade Co., Ltd., for Dengta City Haoyang Garments Co., Ltd., and was produced by Lynn Mathews and Son.

The top lot of American Legend White males was purchased by Fame Concept Trading Limited for HAHA International Fur Market and was produced by Gengel Mink Farm.

The top lot of American Legend White females was purchased by David Yang for SenFur and was produced by Gengel Mink Farm.

The top lot of American Legend Pearl males was purchased by Fimory International Co., Ltd., & Liaoning Huameier Import & Export Co., Ltd., for Liaoning Vinidaier Fashion Co., Ltd., and was produced by Gengel Mink Farm.

The top lot of American Legend Pearl females was purchased by Guangzhou Manali Apparel Trading for Dengta City Ouyashenqi Garments Co. and was produced by Gengel Mink Farm.

The top lot of American Legend Pastel males was purchased by Avanti Furs, Kastoria, Greece, and was produced by Shoreline Farms.

The top lot of American Legend Pastel females was purchased by Yves Salomon, Paris, France, and was produced by Shoreline Farms.
